How long does massage school take?

At the Schools of Medical Massage, students complete 900 hours (36 credit hours) of instruction. To allow students to get literal hands-on practice with the new skills they’re learning, each of our locations has its own student clinic, where our students benefit by working on their techniques in a professional atmosphere under the close supervision of a licensed massage therapist. All students get 30 hours of experience in clinic operations and complete 75 one-hour massages in the student clinics before graduation.

How hard is it to get a job after massage school?

According to the federal government’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, 18% job growth is projected for massage therapists through the year 2033, with an estimated 22,000 job openings each year.
